VIP guests are obviously welcome to stay until the event ends at 9.

What you can expect

This year the wine festival brings with it more than 500 wines to choose from with an emphasis on wine quality and exclusive brands from around the world. Also, there will be educational seminars and specialized tastings occurring throughout the evening.

The best part? All the tasting is included in the price of your ticket. You also get to sample some great foods while you're there which are no additional cost.

Featured wineries from around the world

Although the official list of participants hasn't been posted yet, festival officials assure us that this year will be a standout year at the festival with more wineries than ever making an appearance and some of the most exclusive wines in the world will be available for tasting. It is definitely going to be the region's premier wine tasting event and something you'll be sad to miss.

Wine tasting for a great cause

One of the coolest things about drinking the evening away at this festival is that it always donates a portion of its proceeds to charity. The charity they choose to support changes each year.

This year, the festival is benefiting The Pittsburgh Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (PIND). This includes supporting research on Parkinson's Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington's Disease, Stroke, and Alzheimer's Disease. They work hard to take the most recent scientific findings and turn them into new treatments for those affected by neurodegenerative diseases.
